About the Book

Sitting at her desk, Lucy Campbell started sifting through correspondence and emails that had been coming in during her absence. After going through the stack and closing out her emails, Lucy stood up and stretched. Before sitting down again, she glanced down at the folders and saw one that caught her eye. She started reading it and for some reason couldn’t put it down. She read the name of Peter Harris at the top of the stack of documents. As she was going through it, she read the background and history of the patient. Much of it was familiar. While reading through the file, Lucy had instant flashbacks of her mother and father, especially during the time after her mother passed away. Although she was very young at the time of her mother’s death, certain things triggered Lucy’s memory at random times. That and what her grandparents had told her about both her parents had helped keep her memories of them alive. This time, however, she saw things in black and white right in front of her, not just stories from her past.
